The Third Man

American writer Holly Martins travels to Vienna to visit his old friend Harry Lime. He arrives just in time for his funeral. From a British officer, Martins learns that his friend was an unscrupulous black marketeer. When Martins digs deeper, however, he discovers that Lime is alive and well… Set in post-war Vienna, this atmospheric film noir classic is the best-known of three successful films from the symbiotic collaboration between friends Carol Reed and Graham Greene.
